Discover the Interactive Game Vests in the Sound and Vision Museum
The industrial design department has worked with enthusiasm on the development of the interactive Game Hesjes for the Sound and Vision Museum. In the brand new and unique Media Museum of Sound & Vision in Hilversum you can discover in a playful way how media influence you and vice versa.
A Fascinating Insight into the Influence of Media
With more than 50+ interactive installations, divided into five zones that represent the media primal needs: Share, Inform, Play, Sell and Tell, you will get a fascinating insight into the influence of media.
The Interactive Game Floor and the Game Vests
Our responsibility as designers lay with one of the interactive exhibition spaces, namely the interactive gaming floor. Here we designed the interactive Game Vests. These vests allow visitors to participate in the game in an interactive and immersive way. Thanks to this innovative and user-friendly technology, they experience a museum as an action game and discover what it is like to create and play a game.
Relativizing Media Culture
The primary message of the museum and this exhibition space revolves around putting media culture into perspective: the media determine us and we determine the media. With the Game Hesjes we invite visitors to participate in this process and to become aware of their role in the media. The design of the Game Vests has been carefully tailored to the needs of visitors, with attention to comfort, ease of use and interactive possibilities.
Experience the Power of Interaction and Play
As industrial designers, our passion is to create unique and engaging interactive experiences. With the Interactive Museum Game Vests in the Sound and Vision Museum, we contribute to a dynamic and educational environment where visitors can discover, experiment and immerse themselves in the world of media. Visit the museum and experience for yourself the power of interaction and play in understanding the influence of media on our society.
